A refreshing drink is always welcome in summer whether to quench thirst or to celebrate anything. Juices not only help in overcoming fatigue, but also boost energy and work wonders to cure dehydration. In addition, juices mean vitamins, minerals and enzymes. They are low in calorie and help to enhance your immune system. The most important thing about juices is that they are very easy to make and here are 5 easy recipes.

Watermelon Juice:

To make watermelon juice you need few pieces of watermelon. Remove the seeds and then in a grinder crush them along with sugar and ice cubes. Strain the juice. Add few drops of lemon juice and pinch of roasted cumin powder.  You may add few crushed fresh mint to the drink. Now your juice is ready to drink.

Lemon drink:

Perhaps the cheapest and the most effective thing to beat the summer heat is lemon. It is very refreshing. Drinks made from lemon juice give you instant energy. It is very simple to make. To make it you need a glass of chilled water. Add some lemon juice, 1 tablespoon of sugar and a pinch of salt in it and mix well. Drop 2 ice cubes in it and enjoy the drink.

Green Mango Juice:

This juice is very effective to cool your body. To make it you need few raw green mango. Peel the skin and boil it. Smash and take the pulp. In a blender blend mango pulp, jaggery, cardamom and roasted cumin and coriander seed, make a concentrate and preserve in refrigerator. Serve cold mixing one part concentrate with three parts chilled water. Instead of jaggery you may use sugar. You may add mint for added flavor.

Fruit punch:

To make the punch you need pineapple, orange, sweet lime and grapes in equal quantity. In a blender blend all those fruits and blend well. Strain the juice and add powdered sugar as it blends easily. And at last you may add few drops of lemon juice to make it tangy. Serve with crushed ice.

Yogurt drink:

To make it you need some yogurt, sugar, pinch of salt and rose water or essence. Mix all these things and serve it chilled with crushed ice. Add little cream as topping when serving.
