Onion purifies and thins the blood. Garlic, ginger and onion should be consumed raw to get most of them. Nuts such as almonds are considered to be very beneficial for liver. Almonds contain fiber and a variety of minerals like iron, magnesium and calcium. Almonds not only contain calcium but also protein which is very good for liver.
Some non-vegetarian foods are also very good for liver such as Salmon fish, oysters etc. because they contain omega 3 fatty acids which is also very useful in heart problems and hypertension. Eggs are also good for liver because apart from protein, it contains methionine which is very good for liver.
While talking about liver foods you can’t miss soy-beans which contain lecithin. If you want your liver to burn fats, you should eat soy-beans because it also contains fiber. Soy-beans are also extremely good for women going through menopause phase.
Oats, flax seeds, cabbage, broccoli, blueberries, lemon, apple etc. are equally beneficial for liver. You should try to eat green vegetables and fruits in sufficient quantity to keep your liver healthy. However water is the most essential food to keep your liver functioning properly.
