Green Grams With Richness of Vegetables
Pulses are great for improving and maintaining a good health. Earlier, I have discussed recipes of black grams with you. This time I am bringing to you a very easy recipe of healthy green gram. This recipe can be made easily with simple kitchen ingredients, it tastes great and best for a healthy diet.
it takes very less time to cook and can be eaten alone. with bread or with rice. butter or curd can be used for garnishing this recipe as per your taste. So try this recipe and move forward towards great health. basically green gram improves digestion and is great as a protein source too.

Servings- for 2 persons
Stuff you will require for this recipe-
Green gram (wholegrain- half kg), onions (250 gm), ginger (one inch), garlic cloves (20), green chilies (10), turmeric powder (2 tablespoon), coriander powder (2 tablespoon), red chilly powder ( 1 tablespoon), salt (as per taste), refined oil/ mustard oil ( 4 tablespoons) and fresh coriander leaves and some butter for garnishing.
Recipe-
First of all, soak black grams in water for 2 hours. Now chop the onions, garlic cloves, ginger, green chilies and fresh coriander leaves. Now after 2 hours. Wash the green grams properly. Then heat 4 tablespoons of oil in a pressure cooker. Then add chopped onion, green chilies, garlic cloves, ginger and saute it properly.
When it turns light brown, add turmeric powder, coriander powder, red chilly powder and salt. Then add green gram to it and mix properly adding 1 glass of water into it. Then cook it till 3 whistles and set aside.
Serving tips-
Serve this tasty and healthy green gram recipe with garnishing of fresh coriander leaves, fresh green chilies and some curd or butter as per your taste. You can eat it alone or accompany rice or bread with it.
