 Healthy And Tasty Lamb Korma Recipe For a non vegetarian, lamb korma might be the finest and healthy entrée he/she can prefer. Lamb or mutton ¾ kg
Ghee 3 tablespoon
Chili powder 2  tablespoon
Saffron ½   teaspoon
Onions  2
Cinnamon stick about 4 inch 1
plain yoghurt 1 Cup
Tomatoes 2
Cashew nuts, unsalted
Garlic 4 cloves
Ginger 1 Inch
Fresh cilantro 2 tablespoon (for garnishing purpose)
Malaysian meat curry powder 4 tablespoon( if you can’t get it, prefer any other meat curry powder)


First, slice the onion and ginger into thin pieces. Cut tomatoes into big pieces (or you can quarter them) now, wash the lamb and cut it into cubes. Reserve all these ingredients. Now, you have to take cashew nuts, ginger, and garlic and put them in a grinder adding little bit water. Grind them and prepare a fine paste. Keep aside this paste. Then, boil ¼ cup of water and add saffron threads to it. Remove the water from flame when it is boiled. After ten minutes, take out the saffron threads and squeeze well into the water.

Then, heat a griddle adding ghee to it. Add the lamb pieces to it and blend well. Increase the heat and, after seven minutes, take out the pieces and reserve. After that, add little more ghee to the same griddle and heat it. Then, add cinnamon stick and chopped onions and stir frequently. You have to fry them until the onion is soft.

After that, add the paste you made previously, chili powder, and meat curry powder to the griddle and stir well. You need to stir it frequently until the oil comes out of the paste. After that, put the meat in a bowl and add a pinch of salt to it blending well. Then, add it to the griddle and stir occasionally.

Now, take the saffron water and pour it to the griddle. Mix it well and, if  required add some additional water to it. Now, increase the heat into medium and boil the mixture for some time. Then, cover the griddle and cook it for more than half an hour.  You have to stir it whenever required. If water is needed add little bit and stir well.

See if the meat is well cooked, and add the sliced tomatoes and yogurt to it. Then, stir well and cover the griddle. Now you can reduce the flame and keep the griddle on the heat for some time.  After that, remove it from the fire and transfer the dish to a serving plate. Then, you can garnish it with the chopped coriander leaves. Your lamb korma is now ready to be served.
