Homemade Protein Shakes

Proteins diets have become very popular in last few years since people have got extremely crazy about their health and fitness.

Today not only gym freaks or aspiring athletes are mad for protein shakes, but even your teenager savors it. Protein shakes are highly rich in protein content and contain nice flavor and goodness of different fresh fruits.

You can add any fruit of your choice to milk with protein powder; blend and savor at any time of the day.

Various doctors recommend the intake of protein shakes because they are tastier, easily digestible than your complex proteins. You can drink protein shake in your morning breakfast or after completing your workout session to boost energy in body. Peanut butter n’ banana protein

Ingredients:
1 banana, 1tbsp peanut butter, 8 oz skim milk, 2 scoops of whey protein powder.

Method:
Pour skimmed milk banana, protein powder and peanut butter into blender and blend well. Now pour this solution into tall glasses and serve.

Fruit n’ yogurt protein shake

Ingredients:
½ cup of orange juice, 1 tbsp honey, 1 cup strawberries, 1 cup low fat yogurt (vanilla flavor), 2 scoops whey protein powder, 1 ½ cups skim milk.

Method:
Add strawberries, skim milk, honey, orange juice and protein powder to blender and blend well. Now pour the content into drinking glasses and serve.

Strawberry n’ pineapple n’ apricot protein shake

Ingredients:
1 ½ cup of  water, 6 strawberries, 1tsp flax seed oil, ¼ cup crushed pineapple, 1 tbsp protein powder, 1 tbsp skim milk powder.

Method:
Add pineapple, protein powder, strawberries, skin milk, apricot, flax seed oil and water to blender and blend nicely to prepare a good solution. Now empty the content into tall drinking glasses and serve.

Tropical protein shake

Ingredients:
½ frozen banana, 6 cubes of ice, 1tsp flax oil, 4 frozen strawberries, ½ mango, 1 ¼ cup water, 1 tbsp protein powder, 2 tbsp frozen pina colada mix.

Method:

Blend banana, protein powder, flax oil, water, mango, pin colada mix, strawberries and ice together to make a nice solution. Now pour this solution into drinking glasses and serve.
