Low Fat Recipes
Have you ever tried turkey meat balls? Let me share with you two such recipes that are not only delicious and mouth-watering, but are almost cipher in fat content. So try out the two recipes Turkey Hot Pot and Thai Chicken Stir-fry and enjoy them without worrying about fat content.
Turkey Hot Pot
Ingredients:
1½ cup of chicken stock
400 gm of canned tomatoes
250 gm of minced turkey
2 tablespoons of skimmed milk
1 tablespoon of tomato puree
2-4 garlic cloves (crushed)
One egg white
½ cup of easy cook rice
Basil leaves for garnishing
Pepper and salt to taste
Method:
• Mix turkey and garlic together.
• Whip the egg white until it gets stiff. After that, mix this whipped egg white with the turkey. Place this mixture in the refrigerator for 8-10 minutes.
• Now take a pan and add tomato puree, chicken stock, and tomatoes in it. Bring this to simmer. After that, add rice to it. Stir until the rice is cooked. After that, boil for five more minutes. Now, add pepper and salt to taste.
• Now with the help of turkey meat, make meat balls. Now add these meat balls one by one into the tomato stock, and cook for further 15 minutes.
• Finally season them with Basil leaves and serve.
Thai Chicken Stir-fry
Ingredients:
250 gm of Chicken thighs (thinly sliced)
½ thinly sliced red pepper
½ thinly sliced green pepper
3-4 chopped green onions
5-6 ginger slices
2 garlic cloves (crushed)
¼ cup of peanuts (crushed)
½ tablespoon of oyster sauce
2-3 tablespoons of cooking oil
Black pepper, salt, and sugar to taste
Method:
• Take a pan, add oil in it, and heat it on a high flame. After that, add garlic, ginger, and chicken. Stir it until the chicken is no longer pink.
• After that add all the veggies and fry it for 4-5 minutes until it is properly cooked.
• Then add oyster sauce, peanuts, pepper, and salt. Blend them properly. Cook for another 2-3 minutes, and serve.
The above two recipes comprise just 2 grams of fat. You can have these recipes for your dinner without worrying about the fat content.
