Large garlic cloves minced: 3 Nos
Cheese: As required
Butter: 4 tbsp
Olive oil: 2 tbsp
Parsley: Finely minced

How to prepare:

In a blender, mix garlic and olive oil. Garlic should be minced properly. Add butter and parsley and process for a few seconds. Add a pinch of salt. Spread the mixture evenly over the bread surface and wrap it in an aluminium foil. If required, you can also spread cheese on the bread. Now, bake the bread for about 10 minutes at 400 degrees. Take it out and serve hot.

You can also toast the bread in a pan. Spread some butter on the pan and heat the bread (the garlic mixture should be evenly spread on the bread before toasting it). Press it gently. Repeat it on both sides till the bread becomes crispy. The maximum time you will take to make this snack is 20 minutes.

Don’t worry about the butter, which you think might increase your calorie count. Garlic can help you cut the calorie effect. Also, if you are still not satisfied, go for reduced-calorie margarine instead of butter!
