Paneer Makhani is luscious dish made with Paneer cooked in tomato gravy. Though Paneer Makhani is a Punjabi dish, it is very popular in the entire north India. It can be served with Parathas and chapattis for a fin dinner.

Ingredients (for five people)
200 gram Paneer (fresh cheese)
6 medium size Tomatoes
1 teaspoon Ginger paste
1 teaspoon Garlic paste
1 teaspoon Tandoori masala
½ teaspoon Cumin powder
½ teaspoon Red chilli powder
¼ teaspoon Garam masala
½ cup Fresh Cream
¼ teaspoon cumin seeds
Firstly, you need to slice the cheese into appropriate pieces. Use a sharp knife so that cheese pieces will not lose the cubic shape. Now take a pan and heat one teaspoon vegetable oil.
When the oil is hot enough add cumin seeds and wait for some time. Then take ginger and garlic paste and add them to the pan stirring it well. You need to fry this mixture at least for one minute.
After that, take red chilli powder, tandoori masala, and cumin powder and add them to the pan. Then blend this mixture well stirring periodically for half a minute. Next, take all six tomatoes and grate them properly.
Then add them to the pan stirring frequently. After some time, add required salt. You have to keep stirring it until the grated tomatoes get well cooked. When tomatoes get a form of sauce, add the sliced cheese and garam masala. Then cook it for one minute and stir it whenever required.
When it is cooked well pour the fresh cream into it. You need to blend the cream with the dish by stirring frequently. Then turn out the flame. Your Paneer Makhani is prepared. While you serve the hot Paneer Makhani Garnish it with coriander leaves. It is better to serve Paneer Makhani with Chapati or Paratha.
