Prepare Delicious Greek Chicken In Your Kitchen

Greek Chicken Well, it’s an undeniable fact that Greece had an ancient tradition which played an important role to shape today’s human culture. As far as the food habit of Greece is concerned, it does have a distinct tradition with verities of tasty recipes.

Greek chicken is one of the delicious traditional Greek recipes. It is made in a different way with some fine ingredients, which make the taste of this item so unique. If you wish to know the Greek traditional taste, the first item you can prefer is the Greek chicken. This article gives you step by step instructions to cook luscious Greek chicken.  You can follow them carefully and prepare fine Greek chicken in your kitchen.


Onion ( large) 1
Garlic Clove 1
Chicken Breast (boneless ) 4
Feta or Blue Cheese  (4 ounce)
Ripe Olives (drained) (4.5 ounce)
Vegetable Oil  2 tablespoon
Oregano (dried )½ teaspoon
White Wine (you can also use Chicken Broth instead) 2 tablespoon
Sugar 1 teaspoon
Balsamic Vinegar 1 teaspoon
Thyme (dried) ¼ teaspoon
Coriander leaves and Lemon ( to garnish)


First, you can chop the onion and mince the garlic clove properly. Then, keep them aside.  chop the ripe olives and finely and reserve.  After that, wash the chicken breasts and cut them into pieces. (You have to make them thin – long pieces) After setting aside the chicken pieces, take chopped olives, oregano, feta cheese, and one tablespoon vegetable oil and mix them well. Put the mixture in mixture and blend it well.

When it becomes thick and reaches in form of paste, take it out and coat it on the chicken pieces finely. You need to make sure that all the pieces are well coated with the mixture. Now, you can draw the ends of chicken pieces towards the centre and fix them with tooth picks (use wooden tooth pick for that). It is like tucking up the both sides of chicken pieces towards the centre.

Then, take white wine, balsamic vinegar, thyme, and garlic and put them in a bowl. You have to mix them adding sugar to them. After that, pour one tablespoon olive oil to the mixture and blend well. When it is well mixed, keep it aside. Now, take a baking dish and sprinkle the vinegar mix in it. Add the mixture you previously made to the baking dish and arrange the chopped onion over the mixture. Then, you can take the chicken pieces and arrange them over the onion pieces.

Now, cover the baking dish tightly and heat it at a medium flame. You have to keep it on flame approximately for half an hour.  After that, you can remove the dish and keep it aside for two minutes. After that, open the dish and, spread the pan juices over the chicken pieces finely. Then, cover the dish and keep it on the flame again. Now, you have to bake it at least for 20 minutes.  After that, remove the baking dish from the fire and open it. Now, transfer the dish to a serving plate. Chop the coriander leaves and lemon, and garnish the dish finely. Your Greek chicken is ready to be served.
