Flour 1¾ cups
Dark Brown Sugar 2 cups
Butter ¼ cup
Eggs 2
Milk 1½ cups
Vanilla Essence 1 teaspoon
Chocolate (melted) 120 g
Almonds 1 cup
Baking Powder 2 teaspoon
Soda Bicarbonate ¼ teaspoon
Salt 1 teaspoon

Ingredients for Chocolate Frosting

Chocolate (plain) 105 g
Butter (softened) 60 g
Icing Sugar 180 g
Vanilla Essence 1 teaspoon
Milk 1 tablespoon


As the first step of your preparation, you can make some of the ingredients suitable for the recipe. For that, you need to take a bowl and beat the eggs in it finely. After keeping it aside, you can take the chocolate and melt it in a half heated pan. Reserve this ingredient as well.

Now, you are going to prepare a mixture for the cake. For that, you have to take a clean, large bowl and add the flour to it. Add baking powder to the flour along with the soda bicarbonate. Then, blend them well and add the brown sugar to the bowl. After that, add one teaspoon salt and mix once more. Next, you ought to add the milk to the mixture along with butter. After blending them once, add the vanilla essence to it. You have to whip the mixture until it becomes smooth and soft.

In the next step, take the bowl, in which you kept the beaten egg, and, add the melted chocolate to it. You can whisk it well and add it to the flour mixture. Then, beat the mixture continuously for one minute and make sure that, all ingredients are well blended. At last, mix it with almonds.

Now, you can heat an oven at a medium level heat and coat a baking pan with the butter. After that, pour the mixture into the baking pan and arrange it in the heated oven. You have to bake it until the cake is finely baked. It may take 40 minutes to get it done. After that, you can take out the cake and keep it in a plate. When it loses the warmth, you can cut it into two pieces.

After that, take another pan and add the butter to it along with the plain chocolate. Heat the pan and, as both the ingredients are melted and mixed well, turn off the fire. Add this mixture to a bowl and add vanilla and icing sugar to it. Mix them well and pour the milk to it.

Keep blending it and, once a fine mixture is prepared, pour some amount of it over one piece of cake. Arrange the other piece of cake over it and pour the remaining icing mixture over it. After that, keep the cake in a fridge four one hour. After that, your chocolate fudge cake will be ready to be served.
