Tasty Mutton Chops

Mutton itself is a tasty thing and the preparation made from it will be tasty naturally. Here is a preparation where you can savor the real flavor and taste of mutton. It is an easy preparation. Once the chops are made ready to fry you can preserve them in refrigerator for a week. You only need to fry them immediately before serving.

Ingredients:
•    4 large mutton chops
•    8 pods garlic
•    ½ inch ginger
•    1 red dry chili
•    ½ teaspoon cumin seed
•    ½ teaspoon turmeric powder
•    2 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
•    2 large eggs
•    4 tablespoon breadcrumbs
•    Oil
•    Salt

Preparation:
Out of a triple ribbed chop leave only one bone so as to make it one meaty chop. Remove the gristle. Grind the cumin seed and chili. Make a paste of garlic and ginger. Now in a large bowl mix all the paste, powder of cumin and chili and Worcestershire sauce and salt. Marinate the chops in this mixture over the night or at least for six hours to let the mutton get tender. Beat the eggs well.

Now dip a chop in the beaten eggs, remove and press it on bread crumbs to get an even coating. Repeat the procedure of dipping and pressing because at least two layers are needed to get the crunchy effect. Keep it in refrigerator for setting. Heat oil in a pan and slow fry them until both sides turn brown. Serve hot with fresh salad, sauce or mustard.

You can also make this preparation with chicken breast and fish fillet. People who are extra conscious about fat content and want to avoid red meat can try these out with chicken or fish. But keep one thing in mind, make big piece when you try to make it with chicken. If you want to get further flavor you can also use chopped parsley or coriander leaves in the marinade.

Salad: Cut cucumber, onion and tomato into thin slices and dip them in ice cold water to keep the color and crunch intact. Remove them and arrange them on a plate. While decorating them do not forget to sprinkle salt and squeeze lemon juice.It is a very tasty snack and can be easily taken between two meals.
