Why Breakfast is the most Important Meal of the Day?

Research studies conducted all around the world have proven that children who have a proper breakfast in the morning do much better in school than those who do not have a breakfast.

Similarly adults who have breakfast tend to do better at work as well.

Skipping breakfast is one of the easiest tasks of the day and most of the people tend to do this; however it is one of the worst decisions you will ever take in your life. Breakfast is indeed the most important meal of the day.

Consider this for instance. If a child is to simply skip his or her breakfast and go to school in a hurry, he or she will exhaust whatever energy he or she has stored in the night before, within a few short hours.Even if he or she were to consume a sugar candy or a chocolate bar as a break time snack, it would not be enough.

By lunchtime, the child would be so hungry that instead of eating a healthy and nutritious diet, his or her choice would be to have something junk that just tastes good.This way not only will his or her physical health suffer greatly, but also his or her mental health as he or she will stay aggravated and grumpy due to the hunger.

A lot of people believe that skipping breakfast will help them lose weight. However ponder upon this for a moment: is starving yourself at the start of the day really the best way to lose weight? In fact, having breakfast will help you lose weight.

This is because once you have breakfast you will not feel hungry for a good few hours. In these hours your body will burn a lot of calories as you will be active, and you will effectively lose weight.

Another benefit of having breakfast is that in the morning you can exercise after having your meal. This way all the calories and energy you have just consumed will be utilized to revitalize your body and refuel it. A few toasts with or without some butter and/or jam along with a glass or two of juice, coffee, tea or milk is an excellent and important breakfast to have.
